Make $5 per shirt sold - TI Independent Sales Rep.

We are looking for friends who are interested in making some extra cash and spreading the word of Thriving Ink to your area. However, this is not your usual street team. This is an opportunity for you to make $5 for EVERY shirt you sell. How do we do this? Well, we give you a personal coupon code. Every time that coupon code is used, you get $5 a shirt. If you want a catalog- we’ll send it. Want some stickers to pass out with your coupon code? We will send those too.

Not only is there an incentive for you to sell the shirts (think Thriving Ink Independent Sales Rep) but there is also an incentive to buy. The coupon code will be for 15% off for all of your friends and fam to enjoy.

This is an easy way to make some money, especially around the holidays and a great way to get the word out about Thriving Ink. We want everyone to know that Thriving Ink supports artists. There is no better gift than wearble art.

If you are interested e-mail me at jenelled@thrivingink.com or message me on facebook. We have a TON of ideas on how to sell a ton of shirts and are more than happy to share them with you.

Don’t hesitate to pass this along to friends who may want in on the action. 5 bucks a shirt can add up really quickly if you think about it…

Shop Local for The Holidays…

I know that you have heard this a lot lately, but buying local really does have an impact on all of us little business people, as well as the city that we do business in. A new article came out this morning here in Austin which claims that if you shop at a local shop, $45.00 of every $100 stays in your town. This is in contrast to your city getting to keep $13.00 of every $100 spent at a chain store. That is a big difference! Plus, you are making a difference by actually helping a small business person thrive.

Today, December 18 has be proclaimed “Buy Local for the Holidays” day by our local government here is Austin. I think everyday should be “Shop Local” day no matter what town your in, don’t you? I know the Dronkers family is doing their best to spend our money at our favorite local shops and bazaars and we are having fun doing it! Happy Holidays and Happy Shopping!

A Eurotrash Girl in Austin, Texas!

Sabina Palermo is an Austin-based jewelry designer and student at the University of Texas studying art history. She is also a great friend of Thriving Ink!

Why did you start your own line of jewelry?

I had the idea when I was living in Brighton, England. Coming from Austin and moving to another city where locals really embrace local creativity and local art. I wanted to tap into that and find an art form that I could create with, and it ended up being in the fashion/jewelry industry.

Why name it Eurotrash Girl?

Well, it started off as a nickname for me that some of my friends gave me based upon the fact that I was born in England and I am half Italian-American and that I am obsessed with almost everything European, from foreign films to vespas and especially to european styles and trends…and men!

What inspires your different pieces?

My biggest inspiration for all my jewelry are the things I love most in life; travel, culture, music, and art.

What is your price range?

Most of my accessories range from $10 to $40 depending on the pieces.

Where can I find Eurotrash Girl jewelry?

You can find it on my website, www.eurotrashgirlshop.com and you can also find them at Storyville in Austin and Atomic Cherry Botique in Austin.

Do you have any plans to expand from jewelry?

Yes, as i am finishing up my last semester at the University of Texas, I am definitely making plans to expand my accessories line to include belts and handbags and potentially t-shirts in the near future.
