Release Party/Fashion Show

Don’t miss the hottest ticket in town. We are hosting our one and only FIRST Release Party/Fashion Show. The party will take place at The Abyss Club in Sunnyvale on March 22. We chose that venue because it is for 18 years and up, so we can have more of our friends there.

Our friend CT from Real World, Guantlet III is hosting the party. So, girls, bring your cameras. We are also having a few artists come out to celebrate with us. Our amazing DJs, Brandonray, Atimatik and Shey Love will be spinning house , hip-hop, mash-ups and top 40.

The Abyss holds about 1400, and this event promises to be packed, so be sure to get on our guest list! It will cost you 5 bucks to get in if you are on the list, if you come between 9:30 and 11pm. If you wear a Thriving Ink t-shirt to the bash, we will give you a limited edition shirt, designed exclusively for this event. We’ll also throw your name in a drawing for 100 bucks of shopping here at Thriving Ink.

So, come early, wear a Thriving Ink shirt and we will see you there!

Our house has never been a bigger mess than it is right now. It looks like a garment mill blew up in our entryway and splattered all over the living room, kitchen and hallways (and then some artists put designs on the blank threads). Great. But to be perfectly honest, I’ve never been so stoked. Everything is happening and my family (including my gigantic extended family) is all going crazy, but in a good way.

Whatever, this industry from what I have seen so far is insane, and I don’t plan on, and sure hope it doesn’t settle down.

The past few weeks have been the busiest of my life. Daily shipments, late night meetings, 13 hour photo shoots and never-ending inventory has brought us to where we are right now. Nice. I can only hope that we get even busier. Although we are as busy as we are, my family has managed to stay intact. I am pretty sure that any other family would have either murdered each other or split up to opposite ends of the world by now.

This is only the beginning of what will probably be a BIG adventure, but without people like my family, my cousin JD, my girl Zoe and our artists, I’m not sure we’d survive it.

Stay tuned and enjoy,
