Tomorrow (Saturday April 18) live art in the shop by Robert Harris!

We came into contact with this amazing artist from San Francisco named Eriko Yamada. She was born in Japan, but moved to San Francisco in 2004 to study and create art. Now, she is producing sick prints, skate decks, and illustrations, as well as silk screening out of her garage. Check out her blog here and her website here.
Anywho, Eriko was nice enough to send us some skate decks for our shop (thanks Eriko). These decks are available for purchase and come with fresh grip tape. Be sure to come down and check them out anytime this week, I have a feeling these might go quickly.
Another side note - we are currently talking to Eriko about coming to the shop for a live art, or live silkscreening event. Become a member of our facebook group to stay in the loop on the latest live art, live music, trunk shows, and other events hosted by Thriving Ink & Co..
Here are some pics of the decks

While I am at it, here are some pics of the shop, incase you haven’t seen it yet!

Come down and shop or come down and chill. Every Friday is free cookie Friday! Also, you have to come check out the $10 tee of the week - every week a new design for $10! See you at Thriving Ink & Co..

Friday, April 3rd was Thriving Ink & Co.’s grand opening in downtown Pleasanton, CA! It was an absolute success. People were in the shop all day long listening to great music while browsing all of our art tees, independent artist brands, recycled designer jeans for men and women, as well as all of our art and photography prints. DJ Brandonray played all afternoon and late into the night while people shopped and mingled, and watched the amazing Robert Harris paint two canvases to the beat of the music. Shey Love and Josh Garber also stepped in for a short set and really rocked the house. We were also lucky enough to have our close friends Jon Leech and Eddie O’Neill in the shop throwing it down on their guitars! Thank you guys so much.
About 200 people came downtown for the party, thank you all! Come by the shop if you didn’t make it to the party. We have three of Robert’s paintings up for sale, too! Here are some pictures from the night, courtesy of our amazing friend and our favorite photographer, Kelly Boitano (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kellyboi/ and http://kellysphotoblog.blogspot.com/).

Thank you Jeff, Zoe, Angelica (for the amazing desserts), big Matt (friendly security!), and to all of our friends and family!

Our amazing neighbors at Amelia’s will be open just for the party and beer, wine and food will be available for purchase over there! Jon Leetch and Eddie O’Neil will be jamming on the back patio! We even have a live artist who will be doing his thing!
